Fiji is an island located in the South Pacific, and its name means just that – island. The major economic industries of the country are tourism and sugar exports. Fiji is one of the premiere vacation spots for people across the globe, due it its excellent tourism industry and fabulous weather. The culture is a blend of European and native Fijian, and has something to offer for everyone.

Why I Love Fiji
Fiji is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and since most of the population is English-speaking, it’s easy to communicate with the native people and to truly get a feel for what the island has to offer. I’m a huge Rugby fan, and since Fiji has a very good international Rugby team, I love to catch a match whenever I visit.

What’s Notable About Fiji
Fiji is actually a nation comprised of 322 islands. Only one-third of these are populated by man, however. All of the islands are covered in lush forests, and have high mountainous regions. Because of the landscape, the tallest building in Fiji is only 14 stories tall! Viti Levu offers the most in terms of tourism, however there are many different day-trips available for those who want to branch out and see some of the local attractions instead of focusing only on the major tourist destinations.
